The humble adventures of Erin and Eric. A young couple exploring the world together one day at a time.

This last Sunday we saw Blind Pilot. That sounds normal, but the live show that Blind Pilot puts on is nothing short of mesmerizing and magical. We have seen them three times in the last year, (once in Portland and now twice at the Belly Up in Solana Beach) so this time we decided to invite some friends. By the second song, they were just as enamored as we had expected. Long story short, they ended the encore with an acoustic performance in the front row of the audience, by far the most amazing thing I have ever been apart of.

Dr. John - Locked Down

70’s blues rock mixed with a little Dan Auerbach. Yes, please.

The bow tie is sick today.

Until the soup arrives, this will have to do.

Oh My Gosling.

Been enjoying his acting for awhile. Been enjoying his music all night.

Man…This is like the theme song for anytime I’m driving anywhere near an ocean. I originally heard Waters when they opened up for Delta Spirit. In reality I wasn’t too impressed with the live show, probably because of the beers in my belly. But, after closer examination of the album…its really solid…especially this track. Enjoy, Take Me Out To The Coast by Waters.

Have you heard?

Boots. Bowties. Beats. Last Sunday we caught Delta Spirit at the Belly Up in Solana Beach. An amazing San Diego band so good, I still miss it. A mix of rock and soul with a side of trashcan and bass drum. Curious are you? You should be. Click here

Shenanigans included an encore stage dive to the bar and back without a drop of whiskey and coke spilled.

Just take a listen and thank me later.
