♫”When pizza’s on a bagel, you can eat pizza anytime”..♪

It’s all about simple summer recipes right now. We recently made these bad boys as a throwback to Bagel Bites and other childhood memories. So easy to make and customize and in literally, 10 minutes:

1 pack of sour dough english muffins or bagels of choice

2 tomatoes, diced

4 cloves of garlic

1 tbsp of extra virgin olive oil

1 bag of shredded motzerella

pepperonis (or any of your favorite toppings)

basil (finely chopped)

salt & pepper

———————————————————————————————

preheat broiler

arrange english muffins on a cookie sheet

in a saucepan, sauté garlic and tomatoes in olive oil for 10-15 minutes

spoon a teaspoon of the mixture over each english muffin

sprinkle mozzarella over each, add additional toppings

bake in broiler for 3-5 min..enough for cheese to melt and muffins to brown

remove from broiler and sprinkle basil on top

BOOM.

Beat the Clock pizza!

Old town Temecula has its moments. Monday’s and Tuesday’s are what we like to think of as precious moments because of places like Nitza’s Pizza, the best way to start your week. On these days, a medium 2 topping pizza will cost the price of the time you order it (anytime between 5-8pm) for example, order a Canadian bacon and pineapple at 5:03pm? That’ll be $5.03. They’re crust is the crispiest and cheese the meltiest! Tell your friends….or don’t..but really, support local stuff.

P.S. Spinach + Mozzarella pictured above.
